Things goes as normal for the rehearsal. Usual marching warm up and so but there is a change in the music for the colour party.
Morning woke up at round 7.30am, skipped my breakfast and wait for lunch, draw arms and mustered as usual. The whole process seem to be getting more faster.
We reach the stadium at around close to11am, pick our own chairs and wait at the holding area for awhile before we go in for our warm up. We are told to practice our marching and we did as told. Our drills become a bit more challenging as each rehearsal gone by. This time round we are told not to count out our timing for our firing procedure. Silent drills.....
Lunch is the same and so is dinner, packed lunch and KFC, and the timing is still the same... too early and close...
A last full rehearsal at the end of the day and this time we get to have a glimpse of the NDP events going on after we our march pass is over. The Chinook skimmed across the singapore river, making a water mist in its path before it flew off. Patrol vessels takes over after the Chinook left and make round turns in the river with their siren on. at the same time at the stadium, vehicles of the civil force drove pass across the stadium before they head back in. Two helicopters doing aerial stunts and after the whole flight show the paratroopers take their jump and glide safely to the platform of the floating stadium. This preview was outstanding.
We get to secured home early today and I was tired by then. Thats all for the day =)
